Felix Construction Company is seeking a People Operations Intern currently enrolled in an accredited Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related program for Summer 2026. This internship provides hands-on exposure to core HR functions in a growing construction company, including onboarding, employee engagement, compliance, and people processes. Successful interns may be considered for future full-time opportunities upon graduation.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Support the People Operations team with new hire onboarding and orientation preparation
- Assist with employee records, documentation, and HRIS data accuracy
- Help coordinate training sessions, employee communications, and internal programs
- Support compliance-related processes including policy acknowledgements and required documentation
- Assist with benefits administration support, open enrollment preparation, and employee questions (as appropriate)
- Help plan and support employee engagement activities, events, and recognition programs
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on hiring and onboarding initiatives
- Assist with special HR projects focused on process improvement and employee experience
- Complete an assigned People Operations project and present your results to the team
- Gain exposure to multiple areas of HR and how People Ops supports field and office employees
- Work out of our Phoenix, AZ office
Who You Are
- Pursuing a 4-year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- Interested in a career in Human Resources or People Operations
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams); experience with HRIS platforms is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable
- Comfortable interacting with employees at all levels of the organization
- Curious, eager to learn, and open to feedback
