As an Inventory Control Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in inventory control and management processes. You will work closely with our inventory control team to ensure efficient tracking, organization, and management of inventory levels.    Duties and Responsibilities:   Assist in managing and tracking inventory levels accurately and efficiently. Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies. Support the implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices. Assist in maintaining accurate records of inventory transactions and adjustments. Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in inventory management processes. Assist in preparing reports related to inventory performance and supply chain metrics. Participate in inventory reconciliation activities to resolve discrepancies. Perform other duties as needed and assigned.   Qualifications  Minimum Qualifications:   Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced environment. Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Must be able to pass a background check and a drug test.   Physical Demands:   Required to type, have eye/hand/foot coordination, stand, walk, lift, carry, push, pull, kneel, reach, and grasp, occasionally sit.  Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. This position works in a typical office and manufacturing environment. Clarity of vision including the ability to appropriately differentiate colors. Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds.   Additional Information:   This internship position is part of the  TXWORKS - Student  program. Interested applicants will complete the Student Eligibility Form to get started. TXWORKS-eligible students participating in TXWORKS internships earn a minimum of $20 per hour for at least 8 weeks / 96 hours for internship opportunities.
