About this role

Support Water Treatment Maintenance and Operations by improving asset data, strengthening work order accuracy, and helping enhance preventive maintenance.

What you’ll do:

  • Enter and validate asset data in the asset management system

  • Align field asset information with WACS

  • Assist with creating, reviewing, and closing work orders

  • Support preventive maintenance scheduling and identify gaps

  • Perform basic data checks and simple reporting

What you’ll deliver:

  • Updated and verified asset records

  • More accurate work order data in WACS

  • Updated preventive maintenance tasks

  • A summary of work completed and improvement recommendations

 

Education Requirements

  •  Currently enrolled in an accredited associate or bachelor’s degree program in Engineering, Construction Management, Information System or Management Information Systems, Environmental Science, Supply Chain, or related field.

  • Sophomore standing level or higher preferred.

     

Preferred Experience (not required)

  • Exposure to CMMS/EAM systems (e.g., WACS, Maximo, Cityworks, SAP PM)

  • Structured data entry, data validation, or asset inventory projects.

  • Basic understanding of maintenance of work orders, equipment records, or infrastructure assets.

 

Eligibility Requirements 

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. 

  • Applicants should be able to commit to the entire internship duration. 

 

Pay Scale 

  • 1st Year of College completed: $17

  • 2nd Year of College completed: $18

  • 3rd Year of College completed: $19 

  • Graduate Student: up to $25  - Pay commensurate with experience

 

Internship Duration: May 18th – August 7th
