Support Job Architecture Initiative 
We’re building a clear, consistent job architecture that strengthens role clarity and career pathways across the organization. 
You’ll assist with project work, data analysis, documentation, and process improvements that make this framework stronger and easier to navigate. 

Build Project Management Infrastructure 
From templates to tracking tools, we create the backbone that helps HR run smoothly. 
You’ll develop project tools, streamline reporting, and help establish best practices for managing HR initiatives efficiently. 

Enhance Employee Engagement Activities 
We bring meaningful recognition and connection to life through programs and events. 
As an intern, you’ll support service awards, help plan the company picnic, and contribute to engagement activities that foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Experience/Education  

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited associate or bachelor’s degree program in Human Resource, Communications, Business, Management, or related field.  

 

Eligibility Requirements  

  • Strong written and oral communication skills. 

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.  

  • Applicants should be able to commit to the entire internship duration.  

 

 Pay Scale   

  • 1st Year of College completed: $17   

  • 2nd Year of College completed: $18   

  • 3rd Year of College completed: $19    

  • Graduate Student: up to $25  - Pay commensurate with experience  

   

Internship Duration: May 18th – August 7th

Fayetteville PWC provides utility services (electricity, water, waste water) to the people of Fayetteville and Cumberland County for more than a century. As the largest municipal power system in North Carolina, PWC employs 600 people and serves over 114,000 customers in Cumberland County and on the military installation of Fort Bragg/Pope Air Field.
