Our hybrid work environment combines the best of both worlds with at least three (3) days in office and up to two (2) days virtual for employees who live within fifty (50) miles of a Farmers corporate office. Job Summary

Monitors product performance using quantitative analysis while providing actionable insights and enhancements to products and strategies.

Essential Job Functions

  • Utilize fundamental and quantitative analysis across numerous personal lines products.
  • Communicate and present key metrics and recommended product strategies to leadership.
  • Takes leadership role in special projects as assigned by leader and may be responsible for providing business requirements to IT. 
  • Develops long and short-term plans for their assigned product or strategy.   
  • Assist in the development of pricing and contract changes for product.
  • Manages the analysis and research performed in the development of new products. 
  • Stays abreast of industry developments.
  • Facilitates through other parts of the organization to accomplish results.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematical or statistical field preferred.
  • Masters degree preferred. 

Experience Requirements

Four years experience in similar role or one year in Senior Product Analyst role.

Special Skill Requirement

  • PC Skills, including Excel, PowerBI, Power Point, Access, SAS, Word and basic programming for statistical purposes.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including ability to make effective presentations.
  • Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn advanced insurance pricing concepts and insurance terms and structure.
  • Ability to manage workflows and set appropriate goals and milestones

Physical Environment

Required job duties are normally performed in a climate- controlled office environment with occasional exposure to uncontrolled outside environmental conditions.

Physical Actions

  • This role, whether performed virtually or in an office setting, will include normal and customary distractions, noise, and interruptions.
  • Sits or stands for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift.
  • Occasionally reaches overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. 
  • Occasionally moves, lifts, carries, and places objects and supplies weighing 0-10 pounds without assistance.
  • Listens to, interprets, and differentiates auditory information (example others speaking) at normal speaking levels with or without correction.
  • Visually verifies and reads information.
  • Visually locates material, resources and other objects.
  • Ability to continuously operate a computer for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift.
  • Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate keyboard and other office equipment up to a full work shift.
