Our Platform Engineering Culture
We approach platform engineering with a product mindset — our users are developers, and our success is measured by how effectively we empower them to build, ship, and operate software with confidence. We believe a great internal platform should feel like a well-crafted product: intuitive, reliable, and continuously improving based on user feedback.
Engineers on our team think like product builders. We identify pain points in the development lifecycle, design thoughtful solutions, and measure their impact through adoption, developer satisfaction, and delivery velocity. We value curiosity, iteration, and cross-team collaboration to evolve the developer experience at Fanatics Betting & Gaming.
We also view AI tooling as a foundational part of improving the developer experience. By integrating AI into our workflows, we accelerate feedback loops, reduce friction in delivery, and empower engineers to focus on solving meaningful problems rather than repetitive tasks. From generating code and automating documentation to enhancing observability and analyzing performance data, AI helps us build smarter, more efficient platform capabilities. We expect our engineers to actively explore and apply AI tools — not just for individual productivity, but to elevate the entire developer ecosystem at Fanatics Betting & Gaming.
At our core, we’re a team that balances innovation with pragmatism, automation with craftsmanship, and speed with reliability — building a platform that developers love to use every day.
