About this role

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts; gather inputs from stakeholders and ensure data accuracy.
  • Support the month-end close process to ensure financial accuracy. 
  • Update and maintain financial models and templates under guidance from senior team members.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare routine financial reports for leadership, highlighting key trends and variances. 
  • Maintain and update financial models related to labor, product margin, sales, and operating expenses. 
  • Provide financial support to operations teams, including basic training and analysis. 
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to evaluate performance drivers, new initiatives, or operational changes.
  • Track and monitor capital expenditure and technology budgets for accuracy. 
  • Collaborate with merchandising and operations teams to assess financial impact of promotions and pricing strategies. 
  • Maintain and improve existing reports, scorecards, and data sources to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Help identify opportunities for automation and process efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. 
  • 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related functions (experience with technology or IVR operations preferred). 
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint).
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. 
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to present data and findings in a straightforward way.
  • Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and grow in a fast-paced environment.
