Title- Supply Chain Manager

 

Job Description-

This role will collaborate with all departments to ensure alignment between supply chain processes and business objectives, with a strong focus on inventory management and ERP system utilization. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in procurement, production planning, logistics, and ERP systems, paired with a collaborative approach to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management:** Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production demands while minimizing holding costs and avoiding shortages or overstock.
  • ERP System Optimization:** Leverage ERP systems to enhance supply chain planning, data analysis, and reporting; ensure accuracy of inventory and procurement data within the system.
  • Procurement Oversight:** Develop and manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality materials.
  • Production Planning:** Collaborate with production teams to create and maintain efficient production schedules that align with business goals and customer demands.
  • Logistics Coordination:** Oversee inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods, while optimizing transportation costs.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration:** Partner with finance, sales, operations, and other teams to align supply chain strategies with organizational objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring:** Track supply chain metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Risk Management:** Anticipate and address potential supply chain disruptions, ensuring contingency plans are in place.
  • Process Improvement:** Identify opportunities to streamline supply chain processes and implement best practices to drive operational excellence.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and inventory management tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively across departments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (preferred).

 

This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our business operations by driving supply chain efficiency and supporting company growth.

 

This position requires access or potential access to Unclassified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information, which is Not Releasable to Foreign Nationals (NOFORN) data. Therefore, to meet NOFORN requirement, you will have to provide proof of US Citizenship and attest that you do not have dual citizenship. Acceptable proof of US Citizenship is a US Passport, US Birth Certificate or Naturalization Certificate.
