The Quality Control Systems Specialist supports the Quality department through project coordination, process improvement initiatives, SOP amalgamation, and quality-related administrative functions. This role assists in standardizing procedures, organizing and consolidating SOPs, and generating and analyzing data to support quality-driven decision-making. The position coordinates work across functional teams to ensure timely execution of quality projects and compliance activities.
Temporary Full-Time (40 hours); 6 Month Contract
Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm; Hybrid
$75,500 - $94,500 per year
In this role, you will:
1. Project Coordination
• Coordinate and track progress of quality-related projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within scope.
• Communicate project updates, timelines, and deliverables to internal stakeholders.
• Facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, document action items, and follow up on outstanding tasks.
• Assist in prioritizing initiatives and maintaining project documentation.
2. SOP Amalgamation & Process Standardization
• Review, consolidate, and reorganize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Work with subject matter experts to update or streamline workflows.
• Assist in building standardized templates, naming conventions, and document structures.
• Support migration of procedures into document control systems.
3. Quality Data Generation & Analysis
• Compile, validate, and analyze quality metrics, inspection data, test results, and other datasets.
• Prepare routine and ad-hoc quality reports, dashboards, or summaries for management.
• Identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
• Assist in root cause analysis and CAPA documentation.
4. Administrative & Departmental Support
• Manage quality records, logs, and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in scheduling audits, inspections, and quality meetings.
• Support training coordination related to SOP updates or quality initiatives.
• Maintain organized digital and physical quality files.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Liaise with production, R&D, supply chain, and other teams to support quality projects.
• Ensure consistent communication and alignment across departments.
• Promote awareness of quality standards and process adherence.
