The Technical Product Manager will drive product initiatives within EZCORP's technology ecosystem, managing release trains and contributing to product roadmap execution. This individual contributor role is responsible for bridging business strategy, technology capabilities, and customer needs through hands-on product management. The Technical Product Manager will work cross-functionally with engineering, business analysts, operations, and stakeholders to deliver solutions that advance the company's digital transformation. This role requires strong technical acumen combined with business insight to translate requirements into successful product outcomes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and coordinate release trains, ensuring on-time delivery and quality standards for assigned products or features
  • Contribute to product roadmap planning for assigned technology domains, providing recommendations based on customer needs and technical feasibility
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Partner with engineering and architecture teams to evaluate technical feasibility and define scalable solutions
  • Work with business teams to incorporate market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights into product development
  • Lead cross-functional product development initiatives from conception through launch within assigned release trains
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics to measure product impact
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, technical dependencies, and resource constraints
  • Engage with stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements, manage expectations, and communicate product progress
  • Partner with data teams to leverage analytics for data-driven product decisions
  • Coordinate vendor relationships and third-party integrations for assigned products
  • Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and support change management initiatives to drive adoption
  • Maintain product documentation including feature specifications, release notes, and user guides
  • Support business analysts by reviewing requirements and providing product context
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and product management best practices
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field required
  • 5-7 years of product management or related experience in technology or software development environments
  • Track record of delivering products or features from concept to launch
  • Strong technical background with ability to discuss architecture and implementation details with engineering teams
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Aha!, ProductBoard, etc.)
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and build consensus
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform product decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to various audiences
  • Experience in financial services, fintech, or retail technology preferred
  • Knowledge of API design, cloud platforms, data architecture, and modern software development practices preferred
  • Professional certifications such as CSPO, SAFe POPM, or similar preferred
