EY is a professional services firm with one of our business unit (“FSO”) that is dedicated to the financial services marketplace.
At FSO Technology we deliver project-based work and managed services to our clients. Here, you’ll work as part of a project team and will be responsible for the design, build/configuration, testing, analysis, delivery and support of technology solutions. This position is fast-paced and ever-changing, which means you’ll need to be a flexible self-starter and be able to manage changing priorities and learn new and rapidly changing technology solutions.
Your key responsibilities will be
The goal is to support our clients to transform their business problems through engineering solutions. You will assist engagement teams through the analysis of specific business requirements, design, develop, integrate, test and deploy distributed software applications. You will deliver high quality systems with focus on reliability and excellent customer experience. You will demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge.
Skills and attributes for success
- Delivering engineering solutions through all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements definition, engineering design, development, integration, and testing; based on a proven agile methodology.
- Demonstrate hands-on technical capabilities in multiple programming languages.
- Effectively work with client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds, fostering an innovative and inclusive work environment.
- Demonstrate understanding of current technology environment and industry trends and provide recommendations for engagement and client service issues.
Skills and Requirements We Are Looking For
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another related field.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in technology software development.
- Leveraging languages, libraries and frameworks that support large, complex web applications which must include the following Html5, css3, sass (ooCSS, BEM), bootstrap 3, Material Design for Angular JS (ES5, ES2015, ES7), Angular 12+, Redux (NgRx), Patron “Containers & Components”, Singleton Services, Factory, (RxJS), Node 8 o superior, express 4. local storage.
- Consuming RESTful APIs and JSON data in web applications and with REST API tools such as Postman or similar.
- Web security and working with OWASP security considerations and techniques.
- Experience with one or any combination of the following modern front-end technologies: React, NextJS, Angular 12 +, Node.js, Electron, React Native or Vue.js
- Experience with one or a combination of the modern collaborative development and code management tools including: Git (BitBucket, GitHub or similar) as well as CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Sonar, Mock, Test Case, TeamCity or similar).
- Developing, packaging, testing, debugging and deploying responsive web applications.
- Experience working with testing frameworks and tools for unit and integration testing and knowledge of Test Driven Development or Behavior Driven Development software development techniques (Selenium, Cucumber, JMeter y Angular CLI, Jest).
- Comfortable working in an Agile and TDD environment.
- Fluent English
