We are seeking a VDC Coordinator (m/f/d) to join our team in Stuttgart. This role is integral to the design and construction phases of our complex facilities, particularly within the life sciences and advanced technology sectors. The VDC Coordinator will play a pivotal role in enhancing collaboration, improving efficiency, and ensuring successful project outcomes through the use of technology. They will also assist in creating 3D models as a guideline for the Space Management team.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Assist the Space Management (SPM) team in developing and applying a Building Information Model (BIM) for multi-disciplinary projects.
• Support in creating SPM-related deliverables, including 2D layouts, sections, details, and 3D models.
• Assist in creating 3D Revit models to deliver CSA-related requirements, such as required plinths, sumps, and wall/floor penetrations, steelworks to reflect a concept for further development under the CSA and others.
• Generate organized Clash reports to address conflicts with the 3D design team.
• Communicate with the 3D designer to ensure compliance with the SPM concept.
• Initiate meetings with 3D designers to address issues and follow up on clash reports or misalignments with the SPM concept.
• Support the SPM team in aligning with the BIM Execution Plan.
• Provide model collaboration, automation, and management support to the SPM team.
• Assist in creating and maintaining the Project Navisworks Federated Model for Clash Detection, Viewpoint Management, and Search Sets.
• Participate in weekly Clash Detection meetings and assist in resolving clashes.
• Serve as a point of contact for all CADD and BIM requests related to space management from internal and external sources.
• Perform Quality Control reviews on drafting standards for all published sheet files included as deliverables.

• Advanced user of AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks Manage software.
• Ability to support multi-disciplinary teams while encouraging creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Exceptional presentation skills for internal and external customers.
• Strong data manipulation capabilities.
• Proficiency in English and German.
