The Project Director is responsible for leading the successful delivery of large‑scale data centre construction projects across Europe, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety, quality, and technical performance. This role provides strategic direction, oversight, and governance across the full project lifecycle—through construction, commissioning, and handover to operations.

The Project Director acts as the senior point of accountability for all project outcomes, managing multidisciplinary teams, external contractors, engineering partners, and regulatory stakeholders. They ensure alignment with corporate strategy, capacity planning requirements, and European compliance standards while driving continuous improvement in project execution. The role demands strong leadership, deep technical understanding of data centre infrastructure, and the ability to deliver complex, mission‑critical facilities in multiple countries.

• Build and maintain trusted, long‑term relationships with existing and prospective clients, as well as with their technical, legal, and commercial advisors. Act as the primary senior point of contact, ensuring clear communication, responsiveness, and strategic alignment. Represent the company professionally in all engagements, promoting confidence in its capability to deliver complex data centre projects across Europe.
• Oversee strict adherence to all corporate policies, governance frameworks, and operational procedures throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure that all relevant project information—technical, commercial, contractual, and safety‑related—is communicated accurately and on time to project staff and stakeholders. Drive a culture of documentation excellence, transparency, and disciplined project execution.
• Demonstrate exemplary leadership, conduct, and decision‑making that reinforces the company’s values, safety culture, and ethical standards. Set clear expectations for project teams, contractors, and partners, promoting accountability, collaboration, and high performance. Act as a role model in fostering a positive working environment and driving a culture of continuous improvement.

• 15+ years of progressive experience in large‑scale construction project management, with at least 8–10 years overseeing complex, mission‑critical facilities such as data centres, high‑tech industrial environments, pharmaceuticals, or similarly regulated infrastructure. Experience should include full project lifecycle leadership, multi‑country delivery within Europe, and proven success managing large budgets, multidisciplinary teams, and strategic client relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Construction Management, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical), Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or another related technical discipline.
• PRINCE2 Practitioner and/or PMP (Project Management Professional) certification, demonstrating formal project management expertise.
