Based in Finland, this role leads the commissioning of a data centre project, managing the full lifecycle of mechanical, electrical, and control system validation. The Commissioning Manager ensures all systems meet design intent and operational standards, coordinating across stakeholders to deliver a fully compliant, efficient facility ready for handover. Responsible for the implementation of Commissioning processes, plans and procedures to ensure that all M&E services are compliant with local regulations and standards. You will oversee the system design, installation and performance, ensuring all aspects align with project specifications and client requirements. 

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• To oversee the entire commissioning process of the project, ensuring that sub-systems, systems and equipment are installed, tested and function correctly according to the design specifications and client requirements.
• Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary project team to execute the project as per the commissioning plan, including reviewing and verifying plans, procedures and reports – ensuring compliance as per design, local codes and standards.
• Plan all commissioning activities are per the project schedule and ensure that key project milestones are achieved.
• Create weekly and monthly reports for the Project Director
• To co-ordinate closely with our partners, the client’s commissioning team and facilitate the handover of services from sub-contractor to client
• Completions – ensure that all test reports are fully reviewed, completed, reports compiled, and all required documents are placed into the applicable folder as per the Handover processTo be able to establish from the overarching project programme the milestones required to ensure successful progression and completion of the commissioning and communicate those clearly to the package contractors in suitable format to make certain of finishing on time
• Manage the commissioning process including arrangements, timings, records, etc
• Ensure that all project safety requirements are met and adhered to and aligned as per our Corporate Guidelines
• To be immediate point of contact for subcontractor site management
• To be involved with the project decision making process
• To help and support his package and project team members
• To keep accurate and adequate records to ensure that Exyte Group are protected in any future discussions
• To ensure that on site instructions from client’s authorised personnel are being recorded and managed
• Ensure that he/she can conclude the packages to Exyte Group, the client’s satisfaction including closing of observations recorded
• Fulfil all the requirements of the Company procedures

Experience:

• 10 – 15 years’ work experience in commissioning and must have proven experience as a Commissioning Manager, with a thorough knowledge of commissioning procedures, relevant legal standards and certifications. 

Skills:

• Excellent organizational, leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and communicate with stakeholders.
• Technical Expertise – must have a strong technical background in commissioning Data Centers
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with the project team and client representatives
• Leadership and Management skills – creating a comfortable work environment for the team

Desirable:

• Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical), Science & Technology or equivalent.
• Diploma holders with additional 2 -3 years’ experience unless equated with professional certifications
• Project Management Certification

Software:

• Construction/ Commissioning Management Software’s – Data analyzing & reporting
• Computer literate in all the Microsoft Office Suites
• BIM360
• Autodesk
