We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing piping systems and plant layouts for a variety of industrial projects. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that designs meet project requirements, are cost-effective, and comply with industry standards and regulations. 

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Design and develop piping systems and plant layouts using 3D modeling software.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations, including ASME, API, and ASTM.
• Develop and review design drawings, specifications, and material requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers.
• Conduct site visits to assess design feasibility and address construction issues.
• Participate in project meetings, providing technical input and expertise.

Show your expertise

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in piping and systems design, preferably in an industrial environment.
• Good knowledge of ASME, API and ASTM standards and regulations.
• Experience with 3D modelling software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to guide and mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
