CNC Programmer - Aero
Responsibilities
Preparing NC programs for milling aerospace components using advanced technologies.
Qualifications
BE / B. Tech (Mechanical or Aeronautical) /DME or equivalent.
Essential skills
- Proficiency in CNC programming using CATIA V5 for aerospace milling components.
- Experience in 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis milling toolpath generation.
- Ability to interpret aerospace drawings and 3D CAD models.
- Experience in Vericut simulation for program validation and collision avoidance.
- Strong knowledge of cutting tools, feeds, and speeds for aerospace materials.
- Capability to optimize machining strategies for productivity, quality, and tool life.
- Understanding and support process planning, fixtures, and tooling concepts.
- Experience supporting multi-angle and complex machining setups.
Desired skills
Proficient in CATIA V5 – NC Programming
Experienced in Vericut – Machining Simulation & Validation
Experienced in Aerospace Machining – Aluminum, Steel, Titanium, Inconel
Capable of working with CNC Controllers – Siemens / Fanuc
Proficient in GD&T and Technical Drawing Interpretation
Capable in Process Planning & Tooling Concepts
Experience
Minimum 2 to 8 years of relevant aerospace manufacturing experience
