Summary
This role exists to bring consistency, trust, and continuity back to a trauma sensitive early childhood school community. After a period of rotating contracted support, the school is looking for a dedicated School Psychologist who can partner closely with staff, students, and families through the remainder of the school year, with the opportunity to continue in future school years. You will support a small K4 population across two nearby campuses, lead evaluations and reevaluations, and collaborate directly with teachers and student support staff in a setting designed for focus, flexibility, and impact.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the school site evaluation and reevaluation process for K4 students
  • Complete approximately 11 initial evaluations, with additional evaluations opening as needs are identified
  • Manage reevaluations for existing students to ensure timely and compliant services
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to support student learning, behavior, and social emotional needs
  • Participate in IEP related work and documentation in alignment with Wisconsin DPI requirements
  • Work across two K4 charter locations, one with three classrooms and one with five classrooms
  • Schedule testing, observations, and report writing based on student needs and your professional workflow
  • Engage in a trauma informed, trauma sensitive school environment where many students enter with complex needs
  • Use school provided tools and resources, including a dedicated workspace, laptop, desk phone, and assessment materials
  • Identify any testing or evaluation tools needed, with the school purchasing resources as appropriate
Experience You’ll Need
  • Active Wisconsin DPI School Psychologist licensure
  • Direct experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations
  • Experience supporting IEP development and implementation
  • Comfort working with early childhood populations, including K4 students
  • Experience collaborating with teachers and multidisciplinary school teams
  • Ability to work independently while staying closely connected to school leadership and student support services
  • Familiarity with trauma informed educational environments
Role Details
  • Serving a K4 charter school with two nearby locations
  • Student day runs 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
  • Approximately 30 to 34 hours per week available
  • Flexible scheduling based on testing timelines and student needs
  • Dedicated workspace available at both school locations
  • Small caseloads designed to support quality evaluations and meaningful collaboration
