Job Description
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
- Ability to load/unload trucks
- Operate equipment necessary for the loading/unloading of trucks
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
- Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing
- Ensure delivery of freight and timely clearance when applicable
- Interact with customers in arranging their shipments to meet customers service standards
- Contribute and maintain good relationships with suppliers
- Meet compliance at all times�
- Network communications, timely responses to emails and requests
- Meet KPI standards in accordance with Company policy
- Understand customers procedures and maintain updated internal DLSOPs
Qualifications
- 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Understanding of ocean documentation process a plus
- Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
- Pro-active, strong organizational skills
- Good computer skills (Excel, Word)
- Fluent in English

What you'll do
- The Distribution Agent is responsible for ensuring smooth and timely freight process flow, including loading and unloading trucks, and accurate data entry. They will also interact with customers to arrange shipments and maintain relationships with suppliers.
