Are you a recent civil engineering graduate looking to apply your education to real world infrastructure projects? Join EXP as our next designer and develop your skills while contributing to meaningful community shaping work across the National Capital Region.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
- Assist with the design and drafting of infrastructure projects including design of watermains, storm and sanitary sewers systems, site grading, drainage and stormwater management systems
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to support design tasks, plan preparation, and modeling
- Work with project managers to coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders during project approvals
- Support project managers with scheduling, budgeting, and design documentation
- Contribute to the detail design of civil and siteworks
- Participate in fieldwork, including contract administration and construction review
- Document construction activities, prepare site reports, and help assess contractor compliance
- Take accurate measurements in the field to confirm quantities for contractor payments
What your experience looks like
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is an asset (coursework, internships, or projects works)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a project team
- Interest in infrastructure design, construction, and municipal engineering
- A positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and willingness to take on new challenges

The salary range for this role is between $62K - $68K. The actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
