DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES| About the role

Take ownership of customer issues reported and see. problems through to resolution Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve customer issues.

As the TAC Engineer you will:

• Work experience with different systems, software, and hardware.
• Work in collaboration with a team.
• Take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution.
• Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve customer issues.
• Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
• Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
• Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports.
• Document knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes and articles.
• Follow the SLA for issues with respect to the severity.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• B.Sc. / B. Tech /BCA degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
• 1-2 years working experience in enterprise technical support, IT support or as a technical engineer.
• Experience in configuring and troubleshooting network devices like routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), switching (VLANs, spanning tree), and VPN technologies
• Ability to analyse network behaviour, identify root causes, and implement solutions for complex network and security issues.
• Experience with specific network equipment vendors (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto) is often required, Juniper preferred.
• Effective communication, both written and verbal, to interact with customers and other team members.
