DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role
As the Enterprise Business Development Manager, your responsibilities include:
• Conduct regular market research to understand technology trends, customers’ strategies, and investment trends in order to identify business opportunities and develop sales strategies targeting potential customers.
• Plan, develop, and oversee the overall business development strategy for selling key vendors to potential customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing end-users, while expanding and developing new potential customers.
• Work closely (direct-touch or high-touch) with end-users and focused partners from the early stages, including meeting setup and solution introduction/consultation, for pipeline creation through to opportunity closure.
• Build strong relationships with industry professionals, competitors, vendors, alliances, etc., to understand market potential and capture new opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Manager, Technical Team, Marketing Manager, and Channel Team to create, manage, and close sales opportunities.
Key Measurements
• Meet or exceed revenue and gross profit (GP) targets set by the Country Manager.
• Maintain a healthy 3X–5X sales pipeline generated from exclusively developed business through solution selling and value plays.
• Set up at least three (3) meetings per week with end-users to introduce solutions and/or POCs.
• Execute at least one (1) marketing event each quarter.
