Software Engineer (.NET)

<p>We are seeking an experienced .NET Backend Developer to work on 'full acquiring' projects for our client. Our people are ambitious, collaborative, and constantly evolving.</p> <h3>What You’ll Do</h3> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain back-end services in .NET (Core and/or Framework), focusing on high performance, scalability, and security</li> <li>Implement integrations with acquirer APIs, payment gateways, card brands, and processors</li> <li>Build financial reconciliation and transaction reconciliation modules, both front end (capture and processing) and back end (settlement and clearing)</li> <li>Ensure data integrity and transaction consistency throughout the acquiring flow</li> <li>Collaborate with product, QA, and infrastructure teams to deliver robust solutions aligned with regulatory and business requirements</li> <li>Participate in code reviews, architecture definition, and development best practices</li> </ul> <h3>What You Bring</h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields</li> <li>5+ years of back-end development experience with C# and .NET Core or .NET Framework</li> <li>Experience with Design Patterns</li> <li>Experience with agile methodologies</li> <li>Experience with Serverless architecture</li> <li>Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, Amazon SQS, Amazon SNS, RabbitMQ)</li> <li>Knowledge of Microservices architecture</li> <li>Knowledge of REST APIs and version control tools (Git)</li> <li>Cloud knowledge (preferably AWS)</li> <li>Experience with NoSQL and/or SQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)</li> <li>Knowledge of containerization (Docker and/or Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines</li> <li>Experience in payment methods: Understanding of payment system operations, including authorization, capture, settlement, and reconciliation processes</li> <li>Experience in acquiring: Familiarity with card transaction flows, from transaction capture at the merchant to settlement with the issuing bank</li> <li>Experience with complex projects: Proven track record managing and developing complex systems with high demand and security requirements</li> </ul> <h3>Nice to Have</h3> <ul> <li>Knowledge of payment industry-specific regulations such as PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard)</li> </ul> <h3>Legal &amp; Hiring Information</h3> <ul> <li>Exadel is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to inclusion across minority, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, and more</li> <li>Reasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions</li> <li>Please note: this job description is not exhaustive.
