Licensed Structural Engineer
Location: Eden Prairie, MN | Hybrid | Remote
Schedule: Full-Time
Salary: $120,000 – $170,000 (based on experience)

EVS is seeking a Licensed Structural Engineer to provide technical leadership across complex, high-impact projects. This role is ideal for an experienced structural engineer who enjoys solving challenging problems, mentoring others, and shaping standards and processes that elevate quality across the organization.

What You’ll Do

Provide technical leadership on complex structural designs, calculations, and analyses while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and industry standards.


Oversee and review drawings, calculations, reports, and submittals to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.


Lead the development of complex technical reports and clearly communicate findings to internal teams and clients.


Serve as a trusted technical resource during project meetings, offering structural insight and guidance.


Coordinate closely with project managers and other EVS disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.


Conduct peer reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high-quality deliverables.


Drive department initiatives focused on process improvement, efficiency, and technical excellence.


Support proposal development and contribute structural expertise to business development efforts.

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.


6 or more years of experience in structural engineering with a strong background in complex analysis and design.


Structural Engineering licensure required; SE license in Illinois and PE license in California preferred or ability to obtain within a short timeframe.


Advanced proficiency with structural engineering tools and software such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and specialized analysis programs.


Strong working knowledge of relevant structural codes and standards.


Proven ability to mentor engineers and lead technical reviews and training initiatives.


Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
