Full Stack Developer
Location: Eden Prairie, MN | Hybrid
Schedule: Full-Time

EVS is growing its internal innovation team, and we’re looking for a Full Stack Developer who’s excited to build software that directly transforms how engineers design the future of renewable energy. If you love solving complex problems, enjoy collaborating with technical experts, and want to create tools that have a real operational impact, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

Develop and enhance internal and external software tools that support engineering teams across solar, BESS, civil, electrical, structural, geotech, and survey disciplines.

Build full-stack systems—including front-end interfaces, backend APIs, databases, and cloud deployments—that drive efficiency and automation.
Translate engineering workflows into intuitive digital tools that eliminate inefficiencies and elevate technical accuracy.

Collaborate with subject matter experts to design high-performance, user-friendly solutions.

Contribute to EVS’s long-term digital roadmap by shaping scalable architectures and improving development standards.

Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement efforts across the innovation team.

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s preferred.

3–5 years of professional software development experience, ideally in engineering or technical environments.

Strong proficiency in Python and geospatial/engineering libraries (GeoPandas, Scikit-learn, Shapely, Pandas, PyQt, etc.).

Experience with CAD or engineering automation workflows is strongly preferred.
Front-end experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.

Comfort working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Exposure to AI/LLM integrations and interest in AI-driven applications.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
