As a member of Evergreen Residential’s Accounting team, this person will play a critical role in the day-to-day operational functions of the Company. The Accounts Payable Specialist will track invoices and payments due and prioritize them according to the terms of the invoice. Additionally, they will carefully monitor all payments made and maintain those records for future audits.</p> <p><em>This position is onsite in<strong> Dallas, TX </strong>and is eligible to work from home 1 day a week.</em></p> <p><strong>The Role:</strong>&nbsp;&nbsp; This position includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities<strong>:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Responsible for data entry, GL coding and processing of all vendor invoices and ensuring they are properly captured in our Property Management system (Ender) and NetSuite /Yardi ERP.</li> <li>Ensure invoice information (investor, vendor, invoice number, date, amount, accounting period, coding, property name &amp; address, supporting documents) is accurate.</li> <li>Reconcile invoicing with purchase and work orders.</li> <li>Prepare and process weekly vendor payments.</li> <li>Answer vendor and subcontractor inquiries in a timely manner.</li> <li>Handle routine internal/external inquiries regarding account payment status and balances and assist in resolving payment discrepancies.</li> <li>Review and approve employee Expense Reports (Rippling).</li> <li>Maintain 1099 vendor files for accuracy and current date W9s for tax reporting.</li> <li>Assist in the preparation of 1099 reporting for all vendors.</li> <li>Perform ad hoc analyses and projects as needed.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications and Experience:&nbsp; </strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma.
