Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm, with rotating on-call as needed (on-call shifts may include Saturdays)

Position Summary:
A Medical Equipment Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery, set-up, and pickup of durable medical equipment (DME) to patient homes and healthcare facilities. This position will assist in cleaning of equipment, minor maintenance of vehicles (safety, fluid levels, etc.), and assisting other staff as needed. On-call hours are required as assigned.
This position requires frequent lifting, attention to detail, and the ability to educate patients and caregivers on equipment use while maintaining compliance with HIPPA, safety, and Bluegrass Care Navigators’ policies.

Position Qualifications:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a current Kentucky driver’s license, with a minimum of two years driving experience.
• Minimum of 1 year experience operating a company vehicle. Experience in delivery, setup, and retrieval of medical equipment in patient homes or facilities preferred.
• No positive drug or alcohol test including pre-employment, random, post-accident, or reasonable suspicion.
• Safely operate a motor vehicle during day and night and in a wide range of weather and traffic conditions.
• No more than 2 moving traffic violations during the previous 36 months. No driving under the influence (DUI) [Drug or Alcohol] conviction during the previous 3 years in a commercial or personal motor vehicle.
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately in a professional manner.
• Ability to assemble home medical equipment; Load and unload company van.
• Good personal hygiene and appearance.
• Team members will be expected to comply with Bluegrass Care Navigators (BCN) Employee Health, infectious disease, and vaccination policies.
• Must be a licensed driver.
