Join Evac this summer as an <strong>AP Accounting Trainee</strong> and take your first step toward a meaningful career in finance.</p><p><strong>Your Role</strong></p><p>As an AP Accounting Trainee, you will support our Accounts Payable team in day-to-day financial operations. You’ll gain practical experience, learn from experienced professionals, and develop skills that are highly valued in finance roles.</p><p>Your responsibilities will include:</p><ul><li><p><strong>Invoice processing:</strong> Handling incoming invoices efficiently using Medius</p></li><li><p><strong>Communication:</strong> Managing internal and external email correspondence and responding to inquiries</p></li><li><p><strong>Supplier management:</strong> Assisting with supplier creation and bank account updates</p></li><li><p><strong>Mail handling:</strong> Processing incoming paper mail related to accounts payable</p></li><li><p><strong>Reconciliation:</strong> Supporting AP reconciliation activities</p></li><li><p><strong>Travel expenses:</strong> Processing employee travel expense claims</p></li><li><p><strong>Accrual preparation:</strong> Collecting information for AP-related accruals (calculations and postings handled by senior team members)</p></li></ul><p><strong>What Will Help You Succeed</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Education:</strong> Ongoing studies in Finance, Accounting, or a related field</p></li><li><p><strong>Skills:</strong> Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and clear communication</p></li><li><p><strong>Systems:</strong> Familiarity with financial systems (e.g. Medius) is an advantage, but not required</p></li><li><p><strong>Mindset:</strong> A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine willingness to learn</p></li></ul><p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p><p>At Evac, you’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive finance team where learning is encouraged.
