We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Station Manager to lead our Cairns Airport and City teams on a full time basis.

In this exciting role you will oversee the operations of the stations and will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining fleet and driving revenue growth.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of Cairns Airport and City

  • Effectively control station costs to achieve financial targets

  • All aspects of staff management including recruitment and performance

  • Lead a team to promote a positive team culture

  • Actively seek ways to increase initiations within the location

  • Monitor KPIs and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase profitability

  • Increasing vehicle utilisation and fleet availability

To be considered, you should possess:

  • Proven experience in the car rental industry or similar role

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as intermediate computer skills

  • Financial literacy and the ability to drive station revenue growth

  • The ability to thrive under pressure and a resilient attitude

  • Some fleet management experience (highly desirable)

  • Valid Australian driver's license with a clean driving record

  • Current and ongoing Australian work rights
