Job Description

We’re looking for a sharp, forward-thinking Business Analyst, Fleet Operations, to be the analytical engine behind our fleet strategy. In this role, you’ll turn raw operational data into clarity, direction, and action. Your insights will shape how we manage our fleet, improve efficiency, streamline processes, and drive profitability across our U.S. operations. You’ll build dashboards, develop BI tools, evaluate performance, and serve as a trusted partner to Fleet Directors and senior leadership.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Fleet Performance & KPIs: Track, analyze, and interpret fleet performance metrics; identify trends, gaps, and opportunities; provide recommendations to improve utilization and profitability.

• Reporting & BI Tools: Build, automate, and maintain dashboards and BI reports (Excel, SQL, Python, DOMO/Qlik/Tableau/Power BI). Increase reporting accuracy, speed, and visibility.

• Operational & Strategic Support: Partner with Fleet Directors, Operations, and Planning to define reporting requirements, support volume planning, and provide scenario-based insights that guide fleet strategy.

• Financial & Cost Analysis: Review financial/non-financial data, analyze cost lines, evaluate outliers, and deliver insights that improve cost efficiency and overall fleet yield.

• Risk & Vehicle Lifecycle Analysis: Support risk sales optimization, perform post-mortem vehicle reviews, and help align strategy to maximize profitability on unit sales.

• Data Governance & Thought Leadership: Participate in data governance efforts and serve as a subject matter expert on analytical methods, tools, and best practices.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years in business analytics, business intelligence, operations analysis, or a related field. 

• Supporting a European-based parent company is a plus.

Skills & Abilities:

• Advanced Excel + Google Suite, SQL, Python.

• BI tool experience (DOMO, Qlik, Tableau, Power BI).

• Strong data modeling and analytical skills.

• Ability to connect insights to business goals.

• Excellent communication, organization, and project management.

• Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and deliver consistent customer service.
