Job Description

Europcar New Zealand are seeking a motivated and detail-orientated Defleet Assistant / Ready Return Officer to join our New Zealand team based in Christchurch Airport, NZ on a permanent full time basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the defleet of sale vehicles and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Assist the Fleet Controller to defleet sale vehicles

• Assist with the coordination and control of sale vehicle freights between stations ensuring minimal costs and time efficiency

• Ensure the maximum return of sale vehicles to point of defleet

• Assist with the assignment of fleet to owning or defleet Region via applicable rentals

• Maintain stock levels for relevant winter equipment and support the installation/removal where required

• To greet each customer in a friendly and professional manner in the final stage of their journey

• Ensure that the customers experience has been positive and provide a solution for any issues that have occurred

To be considered for this position you should possess:

• Experience working in a sales/ retail environment

• Administration experience is highly advantageous

• Excellent attention to detail

• Strong customer service mindset

• Clear, confident communication skills

• Ability to work around a 7-day rotating shift roster

• Exceptional level of communication skills, both verbal and written

• Valid New Zealand driver's license

• Current and ongoing New Zealand work rights
