With 54 facilities worldwide, Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing (BPT) is the largest network of bio/pharmaceutical GMP product testing laboratories providing comprehensive laboratory services for the world's largest pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and medical device companies.

Behind the scenes, BPT is enabled by global engineering teams working on next-generation applications like Eurofins Quality Management System(eQMS). eQMS is sophisticated web application that will be used by our scientists, engineers, and technicians to manage several quality and compliance management processes.

This role reports to an Engineering Manager.

Required Experience and Skills:

• 3 to 5 years of experience with developing applications using Azure-based services and AI platforms.
• Working experience on services like Azure App Services , Azure Functions , Azure Storage (Blob, Queue), Azure Key Vault, Service Bus queue, Azure Cosmos DB, Application Insights, Azure AI Foundry.
• Strong experience with Python for data processing and service development.
• Hands-on experience with Azure AI Search (indexing, querying, vector search).
• Experience working with LLM embeddings and vector databases.
• Experience with RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) architectures.
• Knowledge of REST API design and secure service integration.
• Strong understanding of document chunking, embeddings, and semantic search concepts.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and SOLID principles
• Should have working knowledge on Code review that includes, raising code review, resolve comment reviews, Closing code reviews.
• Should be aware of best practices in programming
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences

Desirable Experience

• Experience with frontend development technologies like Angular, TypeScript, jQuery, Html, JavaScript, CSS etc
• Experience with Web application development using .NET, C#, Asp.net, MVC, Web API.
• Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering and AI evaluation techniques.
• Familiarity with machine learning and Azure ML studio.
• Experience with MCP standards and usage.
• Knowledge of front-end performance optimization techniques.
• Good working knowledge of Databases – Mongo DB, Cosmos DB, MSSQL – SQL etc.

PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL CRITERIA: Eurofins has a strong focus on Performance Management system. This includes quarterly calibrations, half-yearly reviews and annual reviews. The KPIs shall be set and may vary slightly between projects. These will be clearly communicated, documented during the first 30 days of your joining.
