As Director, Account Management - Europe, you will play a critical role in strengthening and scaling Material Bank’s brand partner ecosystem across the region. This role is focused on driving long-term partner value through strong leadership, disciplined portfolio management, and trusted relationships with leading Brand Partners. You will lead and develop a team of Account Managers, setting clear expectations, coaching for performance, and building the capabilities required to deliver consistent, measurable outcomes for partners.


This is a senior, external-facing role for someone who understands how brands succeed in the A&D ecosystem and how high-performing teams operate in complex, multi-market environments. You bring sound judgment, strong relationship building skills, a hands-on leadership style, and the ability to balance strategy with execution. You will work closely with sales, marketing, and global account leadership. This role is based out of London, UK with frequent travel across Europe.


What you’ll do



  • Own the overall performance and health of the European brand partner portfolio, including retention, renewal rates, partner satisfaction, and long-term platform adoption.

  • Develop, lead, coach a team of Account Managers while remaining actively involved in key accounts, initiatives, and partner relationships.

  • Onboard new brand partners, guiding them onto the platform and ensuring a strong launch that sets the foundation for long-term success.

  • Work closely with brand partners to monitor performance on the platform, including inventory health, sample availability, deliverable management and ongoing optimization.

  • Oversee and actively contribute to cross-functional initiatives from planning through delivery, ensuring timelines, quality, and outcomes align with strategic goals.

  • Prepare and deliver brand partner-facing presentations, quarterly business reviews, and performance reports that clearly communicate insight, opportunity, and value.

  • Partner with Marketing on submissions, co-branded initiatives, and campaign execution to support partner visibility and performance.

  • Lead renewal discussions and contract negotiations, securing long-term partnership value and supporting sustained revenue growth.

  • Use performance data and contribute feedback and insights from our brand portfolio to help shape future platform enhancements, ensuring a high-quality brand partner experience.


What you’ll bring



  • 8-10 years of experience in strategic account management, client partnerships, or related roles within complex, multi-market environments. (Preferably within B2B, design or technology-driven organizations).

  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams while remaining hands-on in execution.

  • Proven ability to manage complex partner relationships while balancing strategy, operations, and delivery.

  • Solid analytical foundation; fluent in Excel, CRM tools (Salesforce preferred), and performance dashboards. 

  • A hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset—equally skilled in strategy, follow-through, and problem-solving. 

  • High comfort working with operational data, inventory considerations, and performance metrics.

  • Strong collaboration, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

  • A working style that reflects ownership, adaptability, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves.

  • Ability to operate effectively across cultures, functions, and geographies.

  • Willingness to travel frequently across Europe; fluency in English and additional European languages required (Italian is preferred).
