<p><strong>Job Description</strong></p><p></p><ul><li><p>Provide an inclusive and engaging learning environment underpinned by evidence-based best practice.</p></li><li><p>Using transdisciplinary and conceptual approach, deliver a curriculum that is challenging, relevant and significant, based on English National Curriculum.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrate ability to teach design and technology along with coding for primary learners, integrated with the inquiry units.</p></li><li><p>Establish and maintain authentic, respectful and positive relationships with students, families and colleagues where social, cultural and religious diversity is valued.</p></li><li><p>Differentiate the curriculum to cater for a diverse range of learning needs.</p></li><li><p>Attend and contribute to meetings as required.</p></li><li><p>Work collaboratively to create and review Individual Education Plans as required.</p></li><li><p>Maintain planning documents identifying specific learning objectives, differentiated tasks and assessments.</p></li><li><p>Monitor and document student progress.</p></li><li><p>Utilise technology, to enhance student learning outcomes.</p></li><li><p>Organise and maintain a tidy, well-organised classroom and encourage students to take pride in their learning environment.</p></li><li><p>Be responsible for all aspects of classroom management, including supporting the academic, social and emotional needs of all students in a positive and pro-active manner.</p></li><li><p>Engage in professional dialogue and work collaboratively with colleagues, sharing expertise and respecting confidentiality.</p></li><li><p>Be an advocate for student wellbeing, supporting a culture of safeguarding and child protection , and reinforcing the school-wide commitment to keeping students safe.</p></li><li><p>Reflect upon own professional practice to ensure an understanding of contemporary research and best practice.</p></li><li><p>Participate in Professional Learning and appraisal procedures for the purpose of personal, professional and career development.</p></li><li><p>Share in the management of pastoral care, health, welfare and behaviour of all students and in particular, those within your designated class group.</p></li><li><p>Carry out additional tasks as directed by the Principal.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong><strong style="border:0px solid rgb(229, 231, 235);font-weight:700;"><br></strong></p><ul><li><p>The candidate should hold a minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Education or equivalent, or a Bachelor Degree in a subject followed by a PGCE, which is obtained from a recognised University or College.</p></li><li><p>At least 2 – 5 years relevant professional teaching experience. Inquiry based teaching experience (with IB or IPC) preferred.</p></li><li><p>Applicants must provide original copies of their Certificates and academic transcripts for authentication.</p></li></ul>
