About the Role

Estia Health Ardeer is a friendly and welcoming aged care home in Melbourne’s west, offering a supportive team environment where food plays an important role in enhancing residents’ daily lives.

This is a Casual role. That means we can not guarantee how many shifts you may be asked to work, and the shifts can change each week. We may ask you to work on different days/times

As Cook you’ll:

• Work alongside the Chef to assist with kitchen management
• Tailor meals to meet individual needs and preferences
• Ensure our residents are provided with healthy, nutritious and delicious meals
• Support the broader kitchen team to deliver a memorable dining experience

You’ll be a real team player who has:

• A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Great communication and documentation skills
• Some experience within a commercial kitchen (Aged care highly regarded)
• A healthily amount of experience with a broad range of cuisines, dietary requirements in response to social, spiritual & cultural needs of our residents
