About the Role
We're looking for Individuals who embody our values, aren't afraid to challenge, innovate, experiment, and move at a fast pace. In this role you will be responsible for the maintenance of paper-converting equipment. The position includes 6 to 9 months of hands-on training on the first shift (7AM to 3:30PM) before moving into 2nd shift.
Meeting Essity Safety and Quality standards when performing tasks, such as but not limited to Lock Out/Tag Out or Confined Space
Following a strict Preventive Maintenance Schedule
Troubleshoot and perform repairs on big machines and support equipment as directed by the maintenance supervisor
Repair machine defects found on machinery when discovered
Report any machine defects identified during PM that cannot be corrected to maintenance supervisor
Responding to calls from the production team to restore and/or adjust machines to keep product running at expected rates.
Problem solving and suggesting priorities for smooth operation, asking for help with issues that cannot be resolved.
Following established processes, performing preventive maintenance tasks and helping with changeovers as needed.
Making improvement recommendations based on operational experience.
Work required overtime to complete repairs to minimize machine downtime
3 + years of Industrial maintenance experience
Experience working with a preventive maintenance schedule
Technical or College degree preferred, High School graduate or GED required
Minimum 3 years working with the following tools and machinery:
- Lathe
- Drill presses
- Band saws
- Hand tools
- Pipefitting
- Welding, brazing, burring
- Air compressors/HVAC systems
Basic electrical understanding
Working with mechanical and electrical blueprints or drawings is a big plus

Expected Compensation
Between $30 to $34 starting hourly rate + bonus + benefits
