Accounts Payable Administrator Central Europe (f/m/d)

About the role:
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our collaborative team in Lisbon. In this role, you will ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and support key European markets, contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers, playing a vital part in maintaining strong financial controls and driving process enhancements.
What you will do:
Invoice Processing: Handle supplier invoices in SAP and ensure compliance with Essity’s global standards.
Supplier Communication: Manage email correspondence and resolve queries promptly.
Internal Support: Address tickets from internal stakeholders, including factory teams.
Account Reconciliation: Investigate discrepancies such as direct debits without invoices and liaise with suppliers for resolution.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
Regional Support: Provide accounts payable services for Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, and Switzerland.
Collaboration: Work closely with team members to maintain accuracy and efficiency across all tasks.
Who you are:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable or SAP-related roles.
Proficient in SAP and MS Office tools.
Strong organizational skills, proactive mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team.
