The Opportunity:
- Assisting with the coordination of comprehensive activity events to meet the leisure and recreation needs of our residents
- Assisting with transporting residents to and from activity programs
- Initiates, creates and publicizes special events and field trips on the monthly Activities calendar
- Maintains high visibility during activities; assumes a proactive role in resolving resident issues and concerns related to activity programs
- Other duties as assigned
Rate of Pay:
$18.00/hr. based on experience
Your Skills:
- Six months experience in a social/recreational program within the last five years
- Experience working with the elderly and dementia population preferred
- Lift and carry up to 25lbs.
- Ability to pass background checks required by a licensed residential care facility

What you'll do
- The Activities Aide will assist with coordinating activity events to meet the leisure needs of residents and transport them to and from these programs. They will also initiate and publicize special events and maintain visibility during activities.
