Key Responsibilities

Strategic Contribution

  • Support ERM’s global business development initiatives and service innovation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to expand ERM’s service offerings and market presence.

  • Drive strategic growth through proposal development, client engagement, and thought leadership.

Project Delivery

  • Lead and manage complex Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (EIA/ESIA), permitting, and sustainability projects.

  • Ensure projects meet financial targets, timelines, and contractual obligations.

  • Oversee quality assurance and compliance with international standards (IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles) and regional regulatory frameworks.

Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage and mentor a team of consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

  • Engage with diverse stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and community representatives, ensuring transparent communication and effective issue resolution.

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities

  • Develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and maintain long-term client relationships.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Planning, Social Sciences, or related discipline

  • 8 to 15 years relevant experience in environmental and social impact assessment / due diligence, preferably in a consulting environment

  • Strong understanding of EIA/ESIA processes, permitting, and sustainability frameworks

  • Familiarity with international standards (IFC, Equator Principles) and regional regulations

  • Proven track record in leading multidisciplinary projects and managing client relationships

  • Experience in sales, strategic growth, and financial management of projects

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, team leadership, and interpersonal skills

  • Fluent English and Mandarin language needed for projects
