About ERM and the Low Carbon Solutions (LCS) team:

The LCS (Low Carbon Solutions) team, with nearly 20 years of experience, specialises in energy and low-carbon technology consulting, assisting numerous organisations in implementing low-emission technology solutions to address the challenges of the energy transition.
The LCS team brings ERM in-depth expertise in the development, commercialisation, and implementation of emerging technologies such as hydrogen and fuel cells, low-emission transport, industrial decarbonisation, sustainable buildings, or carbon capture, storage, and utilisation.
The dynamism of our teams, our experience, and our technical expertise enable us to offer innovative solutions, in-depth analysis, and strategic recommendations to our clients. We work for various European organisations, ministries, local authorities, and non-governmental organisations, as well as private companies such as energy producers, manufacturers involved in the development of low-carbon technologies, mobility service providers, and many new players in the sectors whose strategic thinking and development we support.
Role:
By joining our team as an intern, you will have the opportunity to discover and/or deepen your knowledge of the low-carbon technology sector, contributing directly to the implementation of large-scale projects with strong decarbonisation potential. You will work directly with clients to support the development of ambitious energy projects and inform the strategic thinking of decision-makers. Work will be carried out in English and/or French, depending on the assignment.
Location:
• Paris (offices located in the 12th arrondissement).
Required skills:
• Engineering degree (energy, environment, mechanics, chemistry, electricity, etc.), or a postgraduate degree in economics and management, mathematics, or science.
• Excellent general skills are expected, including:
Analytical skills and ease with quantitative data;
Excellent writing skills (in French and English);
Oral presentation skills and an appetite for teamwork.
Knowledge of the energy sector and, at a minimum, an interest in the key issues facing the sector are expected.
Languages: French and English (level C1), international experience appreciated.
You MUST be able to sign an internship agreement with your university for a 6 month internship.
Start Date: Position available as soon as possible.
