Department Position Summary:
Responsible to provide Endoscopy duties under the direction of the RN and Endoscopy Technician and secretarial duties in SDCU. Endo Tech responsibilities include set-up, maintenance, meticulous cleaning and decontamination, handling and storing of endoscopic equipment, and assist the physician as directed during procedures. Must be self-motivated, flexible to accommodate daily schedule changes, and able to provide �on-call� coverage. Participate in maintaining efficiency of all areas of the department by ordering and organizing supplies, facilitating communication and order. Provide age-appropriate care as an Endo Tech to the patient population. Provides secretarial duties in assisting in the flow of information through the department, maintains the office area and set-up charts.
