This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, which includes the ability to work from home, while also requiring to be in person as needed at our Lakeside and/or Clayton Corporate HQ campus locations in St. Louis, Missouri.

 

Responsibilities

The Business Administration Solutions team has an exciting opportunity for an ITSenior Software Analyst who will be a key collaborator within an organization that has a global impact on Enterprise Mobility’s business. The Business Administration Solutions team has ownership for the development, maintenance, and management of numerous financial, HCM, Location, and other administrative applications that are foundational to ensuring our business runs with efficiency and data integrity. The organization’s application portfolio includes custom-built, SaaS, on-prem and cloud-based applications, as well as multiple integrations with other application solutions.

 

Enterprise Mobility strives to continuously modernize and improve its applications to stay current with the competitive market and various regulatory compliance requirements. The Business Administration Solutions team has numerous initiatives underway to modernize business processes and platforms, including a finance-based development project that will allow the company to adapt to the rapid growth of digital commerce and the platform economy.  This effort will enable compliance with new legislative mandates in Europe through the use of digital tools and third-party partnerships. Here, the team will leverage new technologies, including event-driven architecture and APIs to ensure our solutions operate seamlessly and efficiently.

 

As an IT Senior Software Analyst in Business Administration Solutions, you will serve as a critical team member, collaborating cross-functionally with software engineers, architects, QA, business sponsors, and other partnering application solution teams. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter, detail-oriented, technically curious, and efficiency-driven individual. Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are necessary for your success. This role requires clear communication and effective collaboration with IT leaders, vendors, business leaders and key stakeholders to align the team and solutions with business objectives. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates business requests to determine feasibility and identify options; documents and recommends solutions for software development or enhancements
  • Coordinates and documents requirements, as required by functional area
  • Play a role in project and release management
  • Reviews design specifications to validate that requirements have been met; reaches out to business sponsors for clarification
  • Troubleshoots and documents application issues to ensure the proper functioning of components; responds appropriately and resolves issues using clear, concise, and accurate information; manages and tracks issue to resolution; communicates resolution to appropriate personnel
  • Validates that new software releases are production ready and provides documentation to end user or support team members
  • Monitors and implements process improvements; recommends enhancements that result in increased quality, efficiencies, and overall value to the IT organization
  • Monitors the effectiveness of established service level agreements to manage customer expectations and quality standards; assists with defining new service level agreements in response to changing needs

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must be organized with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to timelines 
  • Must have strong attention to detail and ability to document both system design information and processes 
  • Must work well in a collaborative team setting, coordinating work and addressing work prioritization, and escalating to leadership when necessary

Qualifications

Required:

  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Must reside in St. Louis, Missouri, or immediate surrounding area
  • Must be able to work a schedule within U.S. Central Standard Time core business hours.
  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
  • 3 or more years of relevant experience 
  • Experience leading IT projects from requirements gathering to effectively communicating with the business and IT team members 
  • Experience with regression testing, release testing, and troubleshooting system issues 
  • Experience identifying root cause and conducting initial investigation into problems
  • Experience partnering with software development team members to communicate a detailed understanding of requirements 
  • Experience clearly defining and creating detailed documentation to describe complex business processes to the lowest level 
  • Experience validating new software releases are production ready and providing documentation for end users
  • Prior success facilitating team meetings, daily standups, providing status reports, and conducting analysis

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
  • Experience working with finance systems and processes
  • SQL experience preferred
  • Professional experience as a Software Analyst, Business Analyst, Product Owner, Scrum Master or similar
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point and Visio
  • Experience using JIRA/Confluence or another project tracking system
  • Experience working within the Agile methodology
  • Experience complying with data security standards, enterprise-wide systems and working on large data integration initiatives
