Job Description:

The Role: Manufacturing Intern 

As a Manufacturing Intern, you will support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment. You will assist in modifying existing analyses, developing new ones, and performing various tasks and projects under the guidance of manufacturing engineers. By the end of the internship, you will have fulfilled the practical requirements of your academic program. 

 

What You’ll Do 

  • Support the Manufacturing Engineer in planning, developing, and implementing methods, quality processes, and automation techniques for both new and existing products and processes. 

  • Assist in developing process control systems and promoting good manufacturing practices to enhance quality and efficiency. 

  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers on tasks related to Corrective Action Reports (CAR) and engineering runs. 

  • Help troubleshoot process issues that impact product yield and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). 

  • Support additional tasks as assigned, including those related to Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), quality, and vendor coordination. 

  • Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes and mechanical design to support daily operations. 

 

What We Seek 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or a related field) with a minimum CGPA of 3.0. 

  • Willingness to accept and apply feedback from peers and supervisors. 

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. 

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. 

  • Basic understanding of engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Creative problem-solving skills and strong analytical thinking. 

  • Ability to influence and collaborate across functions to implement innovative solutions and enhance technical capabilities. 

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
