The Role
Entegris is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Materials Solutions team. This position will be based in our Reno, NV facility.
In this role, you will work independently and as a part of a team to help manage project needs for both large scale, external contract work and internal maintenance tasks.
What You’ll Do
Follow and hold contractors accountable for safety requirements across the site
Inspect building safety systems (fire extinguishers, emergency lighting) and ensure the facility adheres to local building codes and OSHA regulations.
Identify and procure maintenance materials needed for planned / unplanned work utilizing SAP CMMS system for tracking and failure mode analysis
Respond to service requests, track labor/materials, and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
Help identify and screen potential vendors and contractors for various plant projects, including capital projects
Help manage and maintain inventory levels of materials used for existing maintenance tasks
Order additional supplies as needed through Ariba system and track progress to insure on time delivery.
Assist with implementation of larger scale capital projects.
Coordinate on-site contractor work with production to minimize downtime of equipment and adhere to current production schedules.
Assist with organization of daily maintenance tasks into PM program. Conduct regular inspections, lubricate equipment, change filters, and perform scheduled upkeep to prevent breakdowns.
Possess or be willing to attain general knowledge related to electrical safety to include NFPA 70E standards for electrical safety in the workplace.
Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
Identify issues and implement effective solutions
What We Seek
Experience in either construction, maintenance or other mechanical trades for an industrial facility.
Interaction and experience with multiple industrial systems including electrical, process piping, or millwright experience.
Vendor and contractor coordinate experience.
Familiarity with computerized procurement systems, PM software, SAP systems, scheduling programs, and other basic engineering software tools.
Ability to take direction but work independently.
Ability to work under time constraints.
Ability to work overtime and be reachable for emergencies when the need arises to support the business
Strong analytical problem-solving skills, clear communication for interacting with all levels of the organization, and effective time management to prioritize work orders.
Have the ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces or varied weather conditions

Compensation commensurate with experience, pay range is $35/hr to $39/hr.
