Job Title: Additive Manufacturing Intern
Job Summary
The intern will assist the R&D team in Additive Manufacturing projects relating to 3D printing, process optimization and material characterization
Reports to: Additive Manufacturing Scientist
Key Responsibilities
Assist the engineer on lab set up activities, documentation, R&D and part printing works.
Operates and maintain additive manufacturing machines, carry out preprocessing activities like powder preparation and loading, machine set-up.
Perform powder and part characterization activities such as particle size analyzing, test coupon cut up, mounting and polishing works.
Carries out post processing activities such as inspection, de-powdering, cleaning, and support removal.
Work closely with the Additive Manufacturing team to support daily 3D Printing operations.
Willing to learn operation of multiple machines and adapt to fast changing environment.
Requisite Criteria & Skills
Pursing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering or Material Science.
Knowledge on CAD (Solidworks or equivalent) and metallography analytical tools will be an added advantage.
Team player with strong analytical skills
