We are looking for an experienced Senior SEO Executive to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive SEO strategy, optimizing content, and ensuring our digital presence is maximized for organic traffic. This role requires a unique blend of technical SEO expertise, strategic content planning, and a strong passion for sports. Experience with sports betting content is a significant asset.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a robust SEO strategy tailored to sports, casino and betting content, focusing on organic traffic growth and engagement.
• Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, and audience insights to guide content planning and optimization efforts.
• Collaborate with content creators, editors, and writers to ensure all published content aligns with SEO best practices.
• Optimize existing web pages, including metadata, schema markup, internal linking, and overall site structure for maximum visibility.
• Monitor and analyze site performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs, providing data-driven recommendations.
• Implement and oversee technical SEO improvements, including site speed optimization, crawlability, and structured data implementation.
• Identify and resolve SEO-related technical issues
• Stay current with the latest SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and sports industry developments to maintain a competitive edge.
• Manage WordPress or other CMS platforms, ensuring seamless content publishing and optimization.
• Lead and coordinate marketing operations efforts, including managing campaigns and aligning them with SEO goals.
• Identify new opportunities for content growth, including evergreen pages, betting odds guides, and major sports event coverage.
• AI & Innovation: Experience experimenting with AI tools and AI agents to enhance SEO workflows, content creation, and overall productivity.
• Work closely with social media and digital marketing teams to ensure a holistic approach to traffic generation.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SEO strategy, digital marketing, or content planning with a proven ability to drive organic growth.
• Deep knowledge of sports market in Brazil and Latin America, with expertise in sports betting being a strong asset.
• Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO principles.
• Hands-on experience with technical SEO, including crawlability, site structure, page speed optimization, and structured data.
• Experience with WordPress or similar CMS platforms is mandatory.
• Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs as well as Google Analytics
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
• Experience in content planning and editorial strategy, ensuring alignment with search trends and user intent.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Background in sports journalism, content marketing, or digital media is highly desirable.
• Experience working in marketing operations, including campaign management, is a plus.
• Ability to leverage AI-driven insights for optimizing content strategy, automating repetitive tasks, and improving marketing efficiency.
