We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our growing Hospice Company for our Southern Purcell, OK region.
Responsibilities:
- Care for census of 5-6 patients
- Provides or assists in ADL activities; personal hygiene, grooming, mouth, skin care and nails.
- Provides assistance in toileting, positioning and transfer activities, frequent turning and positioning of a bed bound resident/patient.
- Assists with the prescribed exercise and ROM activities which the resident/patient and Hospice aide have been taught by the Hospice Nurse.
- Assists with light housekeeping of individual's personal unit or room, including changing of bed linen and patient’s laundry.
- Feeds and assists with meals.
- Reports any changes in resident's/patient's condition to the Nurse
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid CNA license in the state of OK.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable mode of transportation
- Authorized to work in the United States

- Completed a minimum of 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training. Sixteen hours of classroom must be completed prior to a mandatory 16 hours of practical training.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given.
- Understands hospice philosophy, comfortable providing specialized care to the terminally ill.
- Satisfactory references from previous employers.
- Is self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision. Secure with issues of death/dying. Provides a calm manner when in a patient’s home.
- Has empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and the impaired.
- Demonstrates tact, patience and good personal hygiene.
- Licensed driver with automobile that is insured in accordance with organization requirements and is in good working order.
- Successfully completes a probationary period. This probationary period is to ensure the aide is competent in the above qualifications and is documented by the supervisor and the employee.

What you'll do
- The Certified Nursing Assistant will care for a census of 5-6 patients, assisting with activities of daily living, meal assistance, and light housekeeping. They will also report any changes in the patients' conditions to the Nurse.
