<p>As part of the Engine team, you’ll play a vital role in an environment where innovation meets collaboration. Here’s what you’ll take charge of as a <strong>Senior Infrastructure Engineer</strong>:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Infrastructure Automation:</strong> Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible.</li>
<li><strong>CI/CD Pipeline Development:</strong> Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using tools like CircleCI or GitHub Actions to support rapid, reliable, and secure deployments.</li>
<li><strong>System Monitoring & Reliability:</strong> Implement and maintain observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog), and lead incident response to ensure system reliability.</li>
<li><strong>Platform Engineering:</strong> Develop reusable infrastructure modules, automation frameworks, and patterns that support rapid service provisioning and delivery.</li>
<li><strong>Cloud Architecture & Operations:</strong> Build and scale infrastructure on AWS to support high-availability systems with a focus on performance and cost optimization.</li>
<li><strong>Security & Governance:</strong> Apply infrastructure-level security best practices in collaboration with security teams, including IAM policy enforcement, encryption, and network segmentation.</li>
<li><strong>Team Collaboration:</strong> Work cross-functionally with engineering, architecture, and security teams while mentoring team members and promoting DevOps and platform engineering best practices.</li>
<li><strong>Self-Service Platform Development:</strong> Build and support self-service infrastructure capabilities that enable engineering teams to provision environments and deploy services autonomously.</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>What You’ll Bring to Engine:</strong></h3>
<p>We’re looking for someone who’s ready to make an impact and grow alongside us:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Experience: </strong></li>
<ul>
<li>5+ years of experience in DevOps or Infrastructure roles, working with production systems on AWS.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines that support automated testing, deployment, and environment provisioning</li>
<li>Experience building or maintaining self-service tools or platforms used by developers.</li>
</ul>
<li><strong>Skills:</strong> </li>
<ul>
<li>Deep experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) and strong programming capabilities in Python or Go for engineering scalable automation, internal tools, and infrastructure platforms</li>
<li>Proficient in shell scripting (e.g., Bash) for efficient operational task automation.</li>
<li>Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, EKS, or Kubernetes).</li>
<li>Solid knowledge of observability practices and tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog</li>
</ul>
<li><strong>Bonus points:</strong></li>
<ul>
<li>GitOps experience with ArgoCD or Flux</li>
<li>Familiarity with internal developer portals like Backstage, Cortex, or OpsLevel</li>
<li>Knowledge of secrets management and service discovery tools (Vault, AWS SSM, Consul)</li>
<li>Prior experience mentoring engineers or contributing to DevOps/Platform Engineering culture initiatives</li>
</ul>
