Sr Health and Safety Specialist/Process Safety Management
Summary:
This position will report to the Local Area Director and will be in Watford City, North Dakota. Will support company goals and objectives related to all elements of PSM, emergency response, Industrial Hygiene, regulatory compliance, safety auditing, contractor safety, and training for crude, refined products, and gas assets. Work to develop consistency across the company in the development and application of company PSM procedures and policies. Work individually and as part of the safety team to support and provide customer service to Field Safety and Operations personnel. Assist with the management of company safety programs and with the development of company standard operating procedures (SOP) and training programs. Assist with creation and adherence to all PSM regulations and policies. Assist with or lead incident investigations as needed. Review incident and near miss reports within his/her area of responsibility for accuracy, consistency, and effective corrective actions.
Travel requirements may range from 35%25 to 55%25 depending on business needs. May be assigned specific areas of responsibility but will work in all areas of safety as required by the needs of the department. Performs other duties as required / assigned to support departmental goals.
