Summary:
This position provides on-going measurement and analytical support to the Measurement Team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Analyze and troubleshoot pipeline balance data to assure accuracy and completeness. Using measurement system tools and analytical software applications perform a detailed review of pipeline balances to identify and resolve loss/gain issues. Develop mitigation plans with your manager/supervisor and field operations.
Prepare and distribute balance reports.
Schedule and host balance review meetings with measurement analysts and field operations for all the assigned pipeline assets.
Maintain detailed notes to document all balance review meetings, edits performed to balance configurations and balance reports.
Generate, analyze, distribute various reports needed to evaluate and ensure the accuracy of balance data.
Required education or minimum level:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
5+ years as a Senior Analyst or other applicable measurement experience with responsibility for the analytical review of gas or liquid measurement data, as applicable.
5+ years working FLOWCAL experience reviewing and editing balance configurations and associated volumetric data.
Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must have an aptitude for analyzing data.
Must have good communications skills and work well with other stakeholders.
Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks with limited supervision.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift rapidly.
Software Knowledge:
Advanced proficiency with MS Excel to manipulate data for analysis and research (database lookups, multi-scale graphs, pivot tables)
Mastery of FLOWCAL at a level consistent with supporting and training new users.
Office level proficiency with MS Outlook
