This is a twelve (12) week paid internship program beginning May 2025. You must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with an expected graduation date in Fall 2025 or Spring 2026.  

Various locations (including Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Midland, Mont Belvieu, and others).

Summary:

We are seeking a motivated, dynamic, personable, and professional Engineering Intern for our summer program to join our team! 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The main objective for the intern is to become familiar with the assets in our energy portfolio, gaining experience in gathering, processing, treating, transmission storing, and export of natural gas and/or liquids.

  • Responsibilities will vary with location but may include process simulation and system modeling, gas and fluid flow measurements, pipe and vessel sizing calculations, equipment functions, and maintenance requirements, and the day to day field operations of pipeline, storage, and terminal systems. 



 Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

  • Enrolled in an undergraduate degree program majoring engineering disciplines include Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical at a minimum completion of sophomore level engineering courses.
  • General requirements include self-motivated individuals, involvement in activities outside college studies.
  • Above average GPA 

 Preferred qualifications:

  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Must possess a strong willingness to learn
  • Willing to travel
  • Excellent attention to details.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to adapt well to rapidly changing priorities and responsibilities
  • Ability to organize, perform and prioritize various functions in a fast paced environment
  • Must be a team player, and able to work effectively with a diverse workforce and with various levels within the organization
